What is the difference?

Use Basic Settings
Run Route
Pass Block Right Side
Pass Block Left Side

We tried these different settings in a couple scimmages and it's difficult to tell the exact differences.

Yea - I'm always wanting there to be a "Play Default" selection as with the HB & FB - also I'm not sure if Pass Block Left means he'll set up to Run Block Left if you set it for a running play

Me too on the "play default."

All of those settings are only put into place for passing plays. If you set him to pass block left that means only on passing plays he'll block left, running plays the TE will follow the normal play.

As for the play default, I don't think there's too many pass plays where the TE actually blocks by default (may be a couple, haven't checked), so you have the option to hold them in on pass plays if you want in special situations.
