Did it on a D-league player. Capped catching then vision. Vision didn't change anything, but may be a case of needing other attributes before it becomes useful. Wouldn't bother with it before catching or agility certainly. Possibly speed and jumping as well.
If you are slow building it is worth it because it gets .5 per lvl up along with catching, strength and blocking. where speed agility and other sub skills get like .33 or something like that. so if you want to take advantage of that and get more out if it in the long run soft capping vision and catching and possibly strength first is worth it, but if you want immediate results you should focus more on agility and speed
