I cant seem to get to the QB this year. I usually get stuffed at the line but my blitz usually opens a hole for the SS. So my question is, should I try different shifts or is it just my build??

MLBs really shouldn't be going for sacks.

My MLB has 4 sacks and all have come on weak side shifts as he´s able to shoot through the hole opened by the DT.

Exactly. If you blitz the MLB when they are likely to pass, you could be leaving a HB or FB wide open.

If you're getting good pressure, hopefully the QB won't have time to check down to the RB/FB.

I have 7 on my MLB this season, mostly from the weak side stack on down and long.

A lot of teams are keeping FBs in to block so that would only leave the HB open. And it seems a lot of QBs dont check down anyway. At least the ones we play.

Most of our MLB sacks have come from weakside shifts.

Weakside shifts out of what formation? 4-3? And is that with the ROLB blitzing also?

blitzing weakside shifts are risky unless you know your opponent is gonna pass
