Been thinking about making a WR and virtually every time I see a WR he's always like 6'4.

Is this just a given in GLB that you should make a WR that's tall, or do smaller receivers have an edge in say route-running or something. Think in the NFL Welker/S.Moss/Smith and recently, Lance Moore.

GLB and the NFL don't go hand in hand, but there should be something in GLB to make people want to create small receivers...right?

Way too logical....why do that.

Mines 5'11 and he always used to suck but this season hes doing good. From what I can tell it doesnt make him better on routes/quickness.

Maybe:

Tall guys have + jump catch chance
Short guys have + dive catch chance (closer to the ground)

?

Sooo...just to bump this to see if anyone else has any thoughts.

Short receivers don't get some kind of advantage? I mean it seems like everyone should just reroll to always get a big receiver.

"Currently, everybody basically has the same base speed value for what 100 speed will get you. It's modified by height/weight a little, along with acceleration, but not a huge amount."

I would guess that since the tall guys get a bit more height reach, the shorter and slimmer guys get a bit more speed/acceleration.

I would avoid clicking on any links in that thread though as it is currently locked because someone threw a key logger link in there.

I have 4 WR's: 6'1", 6'2", 6'3" and 6'4" (the last created is tallest)
