Dreams over Cheetas in the marquee matchup this week in the East. If you haven't checked out the Week 11 Power Rankings for the fallout from that game, you should. It's worth it. Colorado over Austin was the marquee matchup in the West, with Colorado prevailing.

Congrats to the top 7 teams in the West who grabbed a W in Week 11 and also to the Chicago Bills that pulled out their first W in Season 6, good job!

In the West, good job by Enghave breaking a two game losing streak vs. the Leprechauns.

With 4 games left to go in the regular season, Philly still has a remote chance of making the playoffs with a good run in the West. In the East, there are 6 teams with at least a mathematical shot at hosting a home game or missing the playoffs so it should be an interesting finish down the homestretch.

West:
1) Corpus Christi Illegal Aliens (-)
2) Rainham Raiders (-)
3) Texas Shaggy Bevos (-)
4) Brooklyn Beastmen (-)
5) Steel City Sentinel(-)
6) Idaho Rex (-)
7) Colorado Ice (+1)
8) Austin Packers (-1)

Dropping Out: NA
Moving In: NA

East:
1) Cyberimagination Dreams (-)
2) Dirty Cheetas (-)
3) Jacktown Gangstas (-)
4) Enghave Evolution (+1)
5) Iowa Hogeyes (-1)
6) South Bend Leprechauns (-)
7) Myrtle Beach Carnage (-)
8a) Louisiana State Tighas (-)
8b) Sleepy Hollow Horseman (-)

Dropping Out: NA
Moving In: NA

I would have understood if you put the Gangstas in front of the Cheetahs. I know that we did beat the Gangstas but that game was 50/50 from going either way.

Bottom line...as you know, I like being the underdog.

Man, after all that early this season, Rainham/CCIA are silent (except for the respectful response above) and going to let the play on the field do the talking?

Kind of a disappointment though, it feels like this season has been a build up to this game, just like first, Dreams/Gangstas and second, Cheetas/Dreams in the East.

I was hoping for some Mike Tyson-esque quotes like this beauty:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4l0ZyKmeNE

"My style is impetuous. My defense is impregnable, and I'm just ferocious. I want your heart. I want to eat his children. Praise be to Allah!"

One of the best quotes ever.

Rainham's style isn't to talk a lot of trash unless provoked...Sly has been awfully quiet lately. I'm sure he's obviously spending a lot of sleepless nights gameplanning, trying to figure out how to deal with an actual offense and defense, and trying to get his players to close their builds. I'm kind of worried for him. I don't want him to get sick or anything. Getting on here to trash talk may cause a stroke or something. For his sake he just needs to get this game over so he can relax for a few days until the conference finals.

At Rainham, "We don't get strokes, we give em motherf*cker"--Jim Brown

I think Sly has been out of the country for the last couple of weeks. I know he was planning to vacation in South America for a month before Christmas. Since hes not at work, he doesnt have so much free time to post on message boards

Now THAT's more like it! GL to both teams

Well I think Sly will be surprised that we put up a fight, but in the end 2 costly INT's and a fumble did us in. We ran right at them and over them, but they did what was needed to win. We need to get back to the drawing board and get ready for what I predict will be a better conference finals game...Great Game!

On a side note, maybe I did a Hannibal Lecter on Sly and ate him up with a nice Cianti and that is why he is silent!

I can tell you what surprised me. I was surprised that down 27 points, in the 2 minute offense before halftime, your team gave up any chance at a TD and instead ran out the clock trying to get a field goal. Of course we were happy to give it to you in that situation and wish every team would make that kind of mistake.

Then, in the 2nd half, with your team constantly down by 3 scores, your team ran such a slow, clock-killing offense that you only had 3 drives the entire 2nd half (excluding the last play of the game). Meanwhile, we kept scoring and kept you constantly down by 3 scores and yet, even in the 4th quarter, down 24 points, so far behind we have our backups in the game, your team is still grinding out the clock. Of course, we're running the clock out too, but why your team had such a give-up strategy as to help us run out the clock in the 2nd half I have no idea!? Surely someone on your team has the GM experience to realize that you can't possibly win by running out the clock down 24 points in the 4th quarter??? Or do they?

Of course I get that you guys were terrified to try to pass the ball. 2 interceptions in 13 attempts tells the whole story I think as to how completely ineffective your passing game was.

So your team managed to put up some decent 2nd half rushing yardage playing against soft defenses that we run when we are way up and are happy to give up the clock killing yardage underneath because we're so far ahead that we know that will guarantee our win. But I was surprised that your team was willing to settle for a strategy like that since it shows your team was willing to concede the loss!?? Even though you were going to lose anyway I still will never understand how an undefeated team's leadership gets so psyched out that they put in a strategy to help the other team run out the clock when they are 24 points behind in the 4th quarter!
