I am making a MLB and am seeing 2 different types of builds from all the open ones I am looking at.

Some of them make tackling a top priority. I didn't think it was because you need speed and agility (and vision?) in front of it.

Then some follow my plan in getting speed/agility/vision up first and then going to strength and tackling.

Which is right for a MLB?

The reason I recommend to get speed and agility up to the cap before strength and tackling is because eventually you want to get spd/agi up to 70ish. You could get tackling that high and load up on aura and monster hit and use power tackling, but you would be so slow and easy to block that you'd make few tackles and thus not be effective.

Also, if you're not too concerned on how your LB performs in his tweener levels, you might even consider taking spd/agi/vis to their 3:1 caps before working on str/tackling, and just intense train those two for a while.

You have to think about what your three highest categoroies should be.

Speed
Agility
Vision Which should all end up over the softcap no matter what and are most likely going to be your 3 highest categories over your players career.
