I got a level 16 DT and trying to build him as a pass rusher.
Stats:
Strength: 71
Agility: 51
Speed: 37
Do you think it was a mistake putting all the equipments on strength?
When I read the threads, it seems impossible to have a good pass rusher without high agility.
Don't you thiink it's possible to build a good pass rusher with great strength and normal agility, maybe if I put more SP on strong base?
Thanks

In order to have a good pass rusher, you need high agility. You can be ok without it, but you'll never consistently get pressure without high agility.

not really, also tried that route. strong base doesn't work really well and high strength usually just gets you bogged down in a shit load of blockers. that does open things up for the rest of your d-line and is good against the run, but you won't get much pressure on the qb.

High strength and normal agility will not work against equal competition. I tried it also. High agility and normal strength works much better.

+1

However...
In a game where folks continually complain about the rush being too strong, folks continue to want to build pass rushers because they have fancy stat lines. Don't think for a moment that there is no correlation here.

High Strength and high Agility gives you the best player for the position...high Agility and high speed (with decent strength) will give you the most stats...especially against teams that you overmatch already.

The better question for maz is, how high did you get your vision up to after the vision delay was added?

I wouldn't even worry about pass rushing look how you push back the LG thats three levels higher. I believe speed and agility are key physical attributes for pass rushing but I believe you need to choose early if you want to be a pure seed rusher or bull rusher because i think when you get to high levels its going to be very hard getting sacks if your not a pure speed rush guy.

Hopefully maz will let us know how things work once he has a "high level" DT.

I still haven't seen a successful low str, high speed/agility higher level DT out there honestly.
