A morale boost that works for the entire offense is something any player should consider.

But how often does a QB through an out of range pass. I'd rather focus on making sure my WR catches all passes that are actually on target.

Aye, I don't think anyone has tried this SA to a high level as it seems to be reliant on other skills being bad (passes out of reach) to come into effect. With the changes to medium/short passing this year and the extra drops/PDs it could be interesting to see what happens with it.
If your QB is a little wayward it could be a good skill to have.

Well, for one , it would help to know what the original piece of equip ur talking about is... ( is it just +1 one-handed catch?, or does it have an attribute attached to it?)
For two- One Handed Catch IS at the end of the possession-tree... so as far as SA's - it's not bad if that's what ur WR is..
For three- personally, I wouldn't invest in it unless I was a possession WR (then it might be worth it-especially if it had a worthwhile attribute attached to it). If I was a Speedster WR (which I am) , I would search for either Quick Cut ( + attribute) , or Juke ( + attribute) equip.
* Edit in response to last post before this* I've actually noticed the 1-handed catch SA fire-off... It's pretty cool- looks like ur WR has a little rubber-band attached to him as he reels the ball in...LoL. But, seeing as it's only at 1, the morale-increase was negligable...

I would consider deflections an out of range pass.. IF (if being the operative word) One handed catch considers some deflections an out of range ball (and why wouldn't it?), it should work and would be beneficial IMHO.

kinda said it wierd i guess. lets rephrase it. so i have a possesion reciever i am building. he is about 18 now. so with the one hand catch SA is it worth getting and leveling up in advanced equipment. he has an extremly high catching. so with this does it make his reach even further. or does it make it easy to catch for him. would drop passes become completed. or does it have the kind of effect were it makes your WR stretch his arm to the ball to get it in front of defenders and catch it. finally if your qb has high vision and high throwing, will he know throw it nearly out of reach so the Wr is the only one who has a chance at catching it. hope that clears it up, thanks

What I want to know is out of the 4 catching SAs, why is diving catch the only one that states "very important for WR" while the other ones just state "important."

I have a similar piece I am considering...
+1 stamina
+1 one handed catch SA
My receiver is speed based so I don't know that I ever plan to add anything to possession SAs. Wondering how much long term value having +3 in one handed catch?
I would think one handed catch is relatively valuable as it is the last SA and I think it was Borts intention to sort of weight the SAs and the last SA is generally valuable.
I am in the process of looking for a new custom piece thinking I will likely pass on this one. The +1 stamina is sort of worthless...if it was a + in speed/agility with the SA I would likely keep it...would even prefer the jumping.

I don't know, I just had a team lose a game on a one handed catch of a tipped pass. Game was in OT, that catch on third down put them into FG range and game over.
