I am in desperate need of help.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=766256

I've been practically benched on my team, only getting a few carries a game now, yet I STILL manage to fumble EVERY OTHER TOUCH. I think it's absolutely insane but I don't know what to do. Any thoughts on how I can proceed going forward?

Some notes:
- I'm outleveled in this league. But that can't be all it, can it?
- I JUST changed my tactics from elusive to combo last game. Didn't work.
- Play Intensity = HARD
- A piece of AE gives me a 7% fake chance

Wow 18 carries and 6 fumbles!!! I thought I had problems with 8 fumbles on 391 carries.
It has a lot to do with being out leveled. The higher level guys will have the speed, agility, and str to force fumbles better, while still making the tackle. You could use some more str, yourself. and like 2 in cover up. How bad is your team compared to your competition over all? I know when we are about to play a bad team I set all my defensive guys to power tackling.

Agree with Dogs. Strength, then Vision.

Although, even being out-leveled in your league... you shouldn't be fumbling like that. You're right, it is ridiculous. Doesn't help that your OT's and one of G's are at your same level.

Yes, I am currently training on strength and blocking (for the bonus tokens - would like to upgrade AE).

We're currently in 11th place (4-6), so we're not doin too hot. - but we are playing MUCH worse than we really are, IMO.

Thanks for the input so far, guys.

HAHA! Well if I want to train on intense and I want to train strength, what other choices do I have?

Unless you mean to suggest that I should be training strength only with a normal training?

I would either train str on normal for a bit, or train str and carrying. Even though carrying is high you'd still be better of pairing it with str, over blocking.
you could probably get another point in carrying by the time your str gets up to 24 or 25. *shrugs*

Don't HB's need to block at times? I know it's not even close to being a primary or perhaps even secondary but it's not like tackling or kicking, right?

Put a couple of points in cover up. Even if you are an Elusive/Speed back you should definitely invest in that. its very cheap since its the 1st SA and it will help you a ton in securing the ball.

sure you can use almost all stats but blocking should be your very last concern. train STR/CAR if you want bonus tokens. Add a couple points into Cover-Up

carrying can only help to a point... if you aren't breaking tackles with either alot of agility or strength, then your gonna be on the wrong end of the hit stick more often than other people. it doesn't matter how well you can control the ball if your getting jacked up all the time.

Just sent you a PM - noticed you're a FA now.

I know another team owner that will be able to utilize your skills effectively. You've got a great build - let's see what it can do with proper game-planning, while you add to Strength and the Cover Up SA.

You'll be a star yet, Mr. Top Gun.

Hmm. . . I think I've heard people say to basically ignore strength for elusive backs. . .

Add strength, don't worry about blocking. I have a WR with 12 in blocking, yet he's one of the better blocking WR's on the team because of his strength. So the short answer is that strength will solve both problems for you.

Thanks everyone for the great advice. I have signed on with a new team (thanks shey) and hopefully my numbers will improve. I plan to work on strength and vision somehow, while also adding SP's to Cover-up as well.

Perhaps this post will help other HB's out there with fumbling issues. If we ever get a forum search working, this may help.

Here are my stats as of this post, as a record of what NOT to build. heh heh.

Strength: 22.85
Blocking: 16.15
Speed: 71.98
Tackling: 9
Agility: 50.21
Throwing: 14.15
Jumping: 14.15
Catching: 14.15
Stamina: 34.15
Carrying: 44.85
Vision: 26.85
Kicking: 8
Confidence: 28.36
