I didn't bother looking past the top three you posted, so my opinion doesn't go for all the players listed, though I imagine their case is not much different. These guys' inflated numbers come from playing inferior competition. Show me CB's that dominate in competitive games, and you'll have a relevant top ten list.

There's no parity in GLB anymore so stats are meaningless.

lol@judging CBs by stats. The best CBs in GLB is the one who starts every single game, has 35+ plays/game, and has 0's across the board, including MsTks, INTs, and PDs. Now THAT is a shutdown corner.

Not a single one higher than A.A.?

This thread is a complete joke. If it wasn't done with those intentions, then the OP clearly doesn't know what a shutdown CB looks like.

Yeah it's becoming painfully obvious to me that as I'm building my level 25 CB, that 2nd capped speed/agility/vision at a relatively low level makes him so dominant over similar leveled (mid 20s) competition that I hardly get any stats. I only seem to get PDs when I'm covering good WRs or favorite targets. Otherwise I don't get thrown to a whole lot for being the #1 CB. My guy has never gotten and INT in his entire career. I didn't build him for INTs, I built him for PDs (he has no catching), but still, I've seen absolutely horrible builds still get a few INTs each season, just because I figure they're getting thrown to more.

Yeah, my CB had a pretty stellar season last year in terms of stats, but that isn't always the best thing to have as a CB. He also gave up quite a few first down catches and one TD catch that I remember. That one scarred me pretty badly.

no no what's even better is: How many int's does a corner back have, not total, but off guys he wasn't even defending.

If you guys would have bothered reading the first sentence, he is ranking them by INTs, and he mentioned nothing about being the best shutdown corner. And by adding "Thoughts?" at the end, he probably saw the same trend that most of us have found (inferior competition leads to more stats).

Thanks man I was trying to point that out and just showing who had the highest amount of picks. I know most of these guys are big fish in relatively small ponds.
