My team used my new playbook for the first time today and I'm a little confused. When I select random formation for a play it did not seem to use a random formation for that play -from my playbook- but a random play from all plays. Is this how things are supposed to work? I thought the entire idea of the playbook was to limit available plays to those selected to the book.

This maybe a silly question but did you activate the playbook?

Are you talking about using goalline formation, or taking a formation entirely out of the playbook?
