jk.. SOS = strength of schedule.. u know.. the higher the SOS.. the tougher the team's battles..

OLA = Opponent Level Average..

in this league.. there are 5 star teams and 1 star teams.. the higher your OLA the higher the level of teams you face.. so if you face more 5 star teams than you do 1 star.. then you've got a higher OLA..

the #s to the right of the teams are the final standing rankings.. the rankings u should really worry about

Cleveland Buckeyes 11.275
-This team just rolled into tampa bay and kindly posted a note saying.. this is the top 5.. get out.. ok well it wasn't that subtle.. after surrendering only 3 pts at halftime.. there was alotta silence in the city of tampa bay.. and yes there has been some conspiracy theories going on about how cleveland manages to face teams that barely make it into the top 5.. hey how about they face the team that made it to the top 4 this time? the ransom aren't the happiest bunch right now.. and maybe just maybe they're in the mood for busting streaks.. like TO says.. bring yer popcorn.. this is gonna get entertaining..

- I think if you really wanna beat this team.. you need to get in contact with Kate Beckingsale.. u know there's a chic i used to know that looked like Kate.. man was she hot.. but she was married.. and it was a bad relationship and i was too chicken to make a move on her.. eventually i.. oh yeah sorry.. the APPALACHIAN LYCANS WIN! LYCANS.. seriously.. keep winning and ill just write "read last power rankings comment".. we need you to do something crazy so i can write all about it.. like i dunno.. LOSE?.. December 5th.. BATTLE OF THE EAST..
Amish Farmers 11.025
- and speaking of battle of the east.. how did the battle of the west go? oooohh.. close but no cigar.. after beating such a high powered team like the whodats.. they've crept up close against the lycans.. december is just around the corner and lycan opposition is about to get tougher.. this may vault up the lycans to possibly the #1 spot.. but a weak opponent could hurt the lycans as well as help the farmers move up also.. but i doubt that'd be the case as the farmers face a weaker team in the isotopes while the lycans go up against an evenly weak team.. so all in all.. lycans have not much to worry about.. i believe.. should cleveland lose that game against the ransom.. lycans may finally be #1..

Rivercity Ransom 10.05
-river city is showing promise.. and they're about to go against their toughest test.. well maybe their 2nd.. well i dunno.. the only team they've lost to so far is the lycans.. now they're about to face a team just as tough if not tougher in the buckeyes.. too bad you can't face a team twice and have it count towards your record? so can they redeem themselves against the next best team in the east and move up even higher in the rankings?

Syracuse Samurai 9.35
-guess who's back? after being kicked out of the top 5 last week.. like sanford they said "ohh elizabeth!! im comin' honey!!" and they jumped rightback in.. the loss by the paladins helped a bit with it too.. they're about to matchup against the best team with worst record in freedom warriors.. will they get their act together this time and.. (here it comes..) SLICE thru the samurai's rope to prosperity?? stay tuned for week 9..

all i want for xmas.. is a spot in the top 5..
Jax Beach Juggernauts 9.15
-moved up 2 spots.. but the competition is starting to spread apart.. can they close out the gap with a victory over houston?

Chicago Whodats 9.1
-their chance to dismount the farmers came short last game.. if they're gonna win any championships.. they have their game film against the farmers to look after now

Houston Armageddon 9.025
-one can say..t hey're only houston yet they beat the state of texas domination.. then u look at the 2 teams and wonder if there was a typo in team names.. eitherway.. their next stop against jax beach should be a tuff one..

Mudville Bombers 9.025
- yes they're ranked 9th.. moved 1 spot up.. but they're tied with houston.. lets see if they can finally move up higher with a guaranteed win as opposed to a risky houston game..

Lincoln Freedom Warriors 9
-yes.. they finally get a write up.. after so long.. the road should be downhill from here on out with their new recruitments.. SHOULD BE.. now they get to test their new folk over tuff teams like the samurai next week and cleveland a couple of weeks from now..

Actually, I think it's the level average of the teams you've played. I'm not clear on the difference between OLA and SOS, although I think OLA is just level average and SOS is based on win percentage. Not sure though.

The game against Jax Beach is a big one for us. The winner could be close to top 5 and the loser to the third tier?

Always a fun read. I enjoy reading these. The A#4 forums are starting to really grate on my last nerve... people up there neither know how to talk smack in a fun good natured way or even seem to hear about it. Fact is that we probably will not be here in two seasons tops.... If we can get past Red Bank in the Playoffs then we they will win it next season if not then it will be us.... It's looking like it's just that simple

We get the Anarchs today. Hopefully, we've improved to the point where we only lose by 70 or so.

ok ill clarify.. sorry guys..

if you're on top of the OLA.. that means the average opponents youve faced so far has been the toughest

the SOS measures how well you've done against those opponents.. so if u've averaged tuff opponents and you've owned em all.. u'll be atop the SOS.. i guess that's why the strongest teams tend to be towards the top of the SOS..

there's some weaker teams involved that are higher than stronger teams.. but it's only because of the talent level they've averaged so far..

blahh! i dunno.. it's wierd.. all that matters is.. the final rankings in the first post lol...

Hmm...I expected to lose by a lot more than just 34-17...even pitched a shutout for the last 25 minutes while scoring the last 17. From their previous scores, it didn't look like Fresno had an autopilot, so...I might have to quit sandbagging one of these days.
