Great game that had everything. A true David vs Goliath story. The Katanas, out leveled across the board by an average of 5-7 levels, get 4 ints and scores 7 TDs to upset the heavily favored Seamen.

This is a must watch game for everyone. It was turnovers or touchdowns all day long, not many defensive stops. Just watch it.

I know the game did not end the way you want but I thought we were going to lose the game and I still thought it was a great game to watch. I think people who watch the game for the enjoyment of watching two teams go toe to toe with each other will really enjoy it.

Cz has said the same thing about games we've lost so for those of you that don't know him that well his statement is less about tooting his own horn and more about a true enjoyment for GLB and close great games in general (which seem further and far between these days). The Katanas are less worried about levels and more worried about builds and our playbook and this game shows it. The Seamen are true champions and this game could have gone either way. We kept ourselves in the game and won the turnover battle which was the difference maker in this one. GL to the Seamen the rest of the way and I'm sure will lock horns again.

i hope the katanas stick around longer than the last whiny/preachy team to make some waves with a few levels below median, queensland flash.

Kamakura are a very good team. I am glad they are out of SEA AAA so now there's chance for Pa Dong Dragons, Vietiane, or P-funk to win it all

Thanks czman! And glad to see you guys taking it to the teams in SEA Pro so far...

I am not sure who you are talking about, nor do I really care. All I know is as soon as your team lost and could no longer be considered the top team you stopped doing your rankings.

You can imply we are whiny/preachy all you want.

I understand some people do not like losing to teams that are far lower in levels because it means there is someone on out there that game plans and builds better than them.

It is often thought anything more than 3 levels cannot be made up. It is not my fault we continually improve every season and beat teams that are higher level than us. Additionally, the team that we just played one hell of a game against, and they would probably beat us 6 out of 10 times, was about 5-7 levels higher than us. Have you ever beaten a team when you were that far below them?

I am not going to apologize for our success.

Moreover, there is no way we should be able to win a championship with as much as we are out leveled in this league. However, we will still be a good team that is competitive.

If it's good ol fashion trash talking, then that's fine, but this is turning ugly. I don't think anyone is trying to disrespect anyone else here. I just wanted to try to alleviate the situation before it got too ugly and put on a lighter tone. Good game to all teams that played today.

I wonder who's going to meet us in the finals. Statistically my team has the best chance to make it because according to my calculations it has nothing to do with game planning and player builds. It has to do with length of TEAM NAME! We got that covered. *flex*

lower levels or higher levels don't mean shieeeeeeeettttt. I dunno what the hype is. We've been a lower level team here since forever.

it's all about the name.

Get a clue man, i've done rankings before ESL ever won it, and i'll keep doing them after. There's a thing called having a real life and I have been busy working overtime. Sorry if I can't keep up with your schedule for rankings but the computer is the last of my priorities, not first like some people. The rankings I had started for this week I had the Katanas at number 1, but fuck you guys now. And Bangkok was the team I had at number 1 in my last rankings. I do the rankings for fun and when I have time, not as a job. Maybe I shouldn't even do them at all then if people are going to make bullshit ass comments like this? Maybe you think Rusty and I are the same person, but we are not, and I have been unbiased with my rankings since I have done them. In fact, last season I was bitched at by non Tire Fires for dropping them too low after a loss. Get a clue and don't talk shit about what I contribute to these forums when I hadn't even said anything in this thread ok partner?
