This idea is purely based on the QB from my team. He has a very good build except for confidence which is in the mid 30s.

His stats are amazing, but he has also been sacked 12 times, hurried 20 times and thrown 2 ints, yet nothing seems to phase him with his relatively low confidence.

In the two games he played teams that were basically 5 levels higher than our team average, he was sacked a total of 11 times, he still managed to complete over 70% of his passes for over 600 yards 6 TDs and 2 ints.

It has to be the level of competition the QB's facing and the team he's built around.

I have two QBs -- one starting for a .500 team in a pro league and the other starting for a top team in an A league.

The difference between their confidence is 15 and the QB from A league with confidence of 50 is cruising through most of his games with ease where as the QB from the pro league with confidence of 65 is getting worked every snap.

The difference between the two QBs are essentially the league they're playing in (pro vs A), confidence (65 vs 50) and SA's (5-7-3-3-5 vs 2-2-0-0-0).

Previously, the QB from pro league had 45 confidence where I've used daily trains, SPs and equipments to get it up to 65 just couple of games ago. The result was phenomenal and his plays are much improved. Doesn't show much improvement in stats but you can see it when you watch his play-by-plays. And this was against better competition than he's faced previously.
