If you set it to blitz 100% of the time, make sure max blitzers is high enough for all your blitzers. If you have max blitzers of 2, and you have an LB set at 100, and FS at 50 and CB at 25. Theres a chance the FS and CB blitz, and then the LB can't blitz because max blitzers was reached. It randomly checks all blitz% in a different order each time, so sometimes the LB check will be 3rd and therefore that 100% won't have a chance of activating. Hope that makes sense.
Otherwise maybe a different AI set is being called where you dont have the LB blitzing, and you dont realize it.
Not entirely true...
If your basic settings are at 25%, and you have a defense that calls for (for instance)
LOLB -blank-
MLB 50%
ROLB 50%
Max Blitzers-2
with a maximum of 2 blitzers, the Def AI will refer to your basic settings and give the LOLB a 25% chance to blitz, and then if the MLB blitzes as well, there will be no possibility for the ROLB to blitz.
(just an example).
If using the Def AI, you should set the basic to 0% blitzing, or you should make certain that ALL blitzing fields are filled in with a zero% for all players that you do not want blitzing on a given play.
Call it a bug, or call it a feature...just know that it happens.
