The next team we are going up against is a run first team how could we totally shut down there run game.

Have proper builds - focussed on stopping the run. Especially the defensive line needs to eat up additional blockers.

This is pure speculation, but I believe a defense that might work against the strong I HB OT is

4-1-6 - cover 0, man underneath, run focus, strong side shift, CB 4, MLB, FS blitz

i am starting to believe a 4-3 is better against the run than a 3-4

3-4 is garbage in GLB

The 3-4's weakness is the A gaps.

not in GLB where RB's are like mice and can squeeze through the smallest of gaps without missing a step.

you need some monster linemen to run a 3-4

good DE's and LB's
