If you have your CB tactic for coverage style at medium, does your CB still try to go for intercepts? and if i have it on go for interceptions, is there any negative effect?

Yes they will, but will only go for them if they are in a double team or have a safety help behind them. Medium is the best choice to try and get INTs, but not give up long TDs when you miss the INT.
