So here is what I am wondering. Is it me, or my O-Line that is causing me to play so poorly? I know my Vision isn't as high as my Throwing, but I am working on that when I level from now on. Is there anything I can do in the immediate time to make my guy throw less INTs and get sacked less?

While your QB's build is slightly different then mine, I don't have nearly as much agility, I don't think it's out of the realm of being successful. QB performance is really more dependent on his team and the offensive game plan then anything else. I know it sounds simplistic but having good WRs makes a world of difference, currently your WRs are little under leveled. A good WR is one that can get open, make the catch, AND get yards after the catch.

Offensively I would force the run, your QBs best game this year was when your team rushed for 350+ yards, making people respect the run makes it easier on the passing game. Right now you have 200+ passing attempts and all the RBs on your team have about 150 rushing attempts. That is a product of falling behind big in a few of your games and having to pass but I think you might be able to keep most games close by running more.

Maintaining a productive passing game requires some work on the OC's part. You need to get rid of the bad pass plays from the play book and try to focus on what your WRs/TEs can actually do. It's hard to make a quick fix but you might be asking your passing game to do too much right now.

EDIT: I guess from a build advice stand point you could either work on vision and throwing or pump your speed to match your agility and try adding some QB runs to the playbook.

So I need to talk to the OC and see if he can eliminate a lot of useless passing plays, eh? As for the Agility, I wanted to make the guy harder to tackle in the pocket, the Strength and PP weren't doing it, and I don't remember where I read it, but I read that Agility helps your passing mechanics, so I dropped points in it and have noticed a remarkable decrease in my being sacked, though losing a lot of our O-line in the off season really didn't help matters much either.

Your vision is pretty low for your level

Well, the OC (and his game plan) has more to do with a QB's success then pretty much anyone else, that's part of the reason I jumped at the chance to OC my QB's team when the position became available during season 4. From my experience it is more difficult to maintain an effective passing game then it is the running game. Heck, the running game is working so well this season(in general) that I'd suggest running a lot if you are having that much trouble passing.

You have a number of low to mid level 20 guys on offense going against high 20 to mid 30 defensive players, you're going to have to simplify and go with what works for now. That's just my opinion though.

I think the large part of your problem is your team, your throwing and vision is a little low for your level, but you do have a chance of making a pretty decent scrambling hybrid I think will be uber good with the new QB run plays. You could raise your vision to 60 and be a slightly behind the curve passer or raise you speed to the soft cap and be a rushing threat that will be pretty dangerous passing under the right system.

I think the 5 wide qb run plays are going to be very hard to stop with a qb that can complete the 5 wide passes consistently. DCs won't be able to get out of at least a dime set so when you do run it will be for 5 to 10 yards a pop.

Basically in a nutt shell, raise vision to next soft cap if you plan on being a pure passer, raise speed if you want to try being a hybrid. First and foremost try and find a team with a higher level line and better WRs.

Alrighty, thanks for the heads up. Well, I'd rather not leave the owner, but I'd also like to be productive. So maybe make him get a much better line and WRs in the offseason...
