I have good vision/catching/jumping/speed etc... Strength is really low and get a lot of dropped passes.

wondering if it's cause my Strength is low or just my QB's suck.

could be cause Strength is low and QB is throwing bullet passes?

I have never put a single sp in str for my wide receiver. I have just now started to train it. He has 16 str now. He doesn't do too bad in the drops department. But if his drops go to 0 once I get str up then I will know. Until then I figure drops are a factor of a lot more combined things than what str can do to help.

It really starts at the offensive line protecting the quarterback. then the quarterback has to have the vision throwing and str to get you the ball. then you have to have the catching to catch the ball. If the throw is off target by a little bit, which happens, a lot. Then jumping, stamina, confidence, agility, possible vision, and all those others come into play and help more than I think str will.

yeah i was thinking along the lines of if a QB throws me a BULLET PASS if i am lacking Strength to hold on to it that might be causing the drops cause i watched the replays and it seems a lot of times he just zips it in there and its called a drop even though like i said i got good vision/catching/jumping etc... so thats the only thing i could think of.

There is a WR on my team with softcapped strength and he drops just as many as everyone else...

St affects drops. As for the softcapped ST post, I would like to know what his other attributes are.

a few replay examples would help

I dont think str would affect your catch chances except when a defender is trying to make a play on the ball

To continue the WR/strength discussion, I have always thought that a receiver with a reasonable amount of strength would do better against a CB with low strength in a 50/50 situation where he could use his muscle to get to the ball.

It is entirely possible, but I think 50/50 balls probably take into account carrying rather than strength to determines who gets it. If people are getting hit as they catch and Bort has stated that is what carrying helps with, you have to wonder if the strength/strip component comes in during the carrying part of the catching phase or after the catch is made. It probably helps more with stripping/fumbles than INTs.

But that is just my guess.
