I would like to know what is the best way to stop the STRONG I OFFTACKLE RUN.
I would like to know, what is the best against that play.
And what happened if i use this 3 D. play against that play.
What is the % i have to use if i use that 3 Defensive setup. So tell me how you like this plays. ETC...

I mean how you like that setup 1, 40% - 2, 30% - 3, 30%

1, 3-3 cov 1 man ,medium , run, no shift, 3 man blitz ss, mlb, rlb and the
2, 4-3, Cover 0, Strong side LB shift, Run Focused, Blitz MLB & LOLB and the
3, 3-4, Cover 1, Weak side LB shift, Run Focused, Both ILB Blitz

Thanks.

There will be no best play, as every team is different.

Not sure what you are saying, but the % must equal 100% in an input total.

I assume the OT run is going strong side, so shifting your lb's weak side, isnt going to do much unless they switch it up.

Dont think id use 3-3.

Not sure what your post is asking but heres a hint.

1, 3-3 cov 1 man ,medium , run, no shift, 3 man blitz ss, mlb, rlb and the

This will result in 3 down linemen so the RG is un blocked and will double the NT which is actually a good thing for the Defense.
Cover 1 Man brings the SS down to cover the TE and with no shift its almost a 3-4 with strong shift.
Blitzing the RLB is pointless, as in man he is covering the HB anyway.
Either the SS or MLB will be blocked by the FB leaving the other to make the tackle (Hopefully).

This is going to depend entirely on the reactions and builds of your players, but its a pretty bad set up to be honest.

2, 4-3, Cover 0, Strong side LB shift, Run Focused, Blitz MLB & LOLB and the

This is the most common defense aganst Strong I, its ok, but again Run focus and blitzing will mean if the LBs dont make the tackle it will be a big gain.

3, 3-4, Cover 1, Weak side LB shift, Run Focused, Both ILB Blitz
3-4 cover 1 gives you effectively a 3-5, I dont understand why you would shift weak AND blitz the ILB as thats miles away from the point of attack on the play.

If anything, Shifting Weak forces you to blitz the SS & LOLB.

I wouldnt use any of these really.

I mean if you guys would like to use these plays, how much % do you guys would like to use against the strong i this 3 defensvive call in the defensive ai. So i set up that 3 D. call and which % do you guys would like to run it. 1, 30% 2,40% 3, 30% for i strong formation in the defensive ai. So what do you guys use if you want to stop a team who use it 80% of the field. Example for a 1 and 10 off tackle run to stop that. And after that 2 and 6 the same play i strong off tackle run. 3 and 2 pass one. Any idea?

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=246566&pbp_id=3530439 what happened there. It is not a good call against that play? And what do u use to stop a team who run away on every team? I mean what i have to setup to be a chance to stop there offense in that call play. They use strong i run off tackle and run over every team, they use 80% there run. I would like to setup good defense there.

that play is a strong I slam right, not off-tackle.
had it actually been an off-tackle, he might've taken it to the house instead of just a 3 yard gain.

the goalline defense is not going to stop the strong I off-tackle. (not to mention all the other reasons not to come out in goalline on 1st and 10 or against strong I).

That play is indeed a Off-Tackle. The HB just decided to take an inside route. I wouldn't rule out the goaline defense at all. If you are 100% sure it's a run, that may be the way to go.

Against a team that also throws in the Strong I, that may pose a big problem. You can reduce the risk somewhat by not stacking the box and have a good coverage LOLB (I've used the SS to play that position in certain games). If they pass in those situations, your CB will be 1v1 and your LOLB will be 1v1 on the TE. While the pass defense isn't the greatest situation, it's not like you will be giving up a TD on every play should the decide to pass it. Also, you should generate a decent amount of pressure on the QB with all those lineman up front.

What about Goalline, stong shift, cover 0, man2man,Short, Run and blitz all your LBs.

The answer depends entirely on your personnel, no one here can say what is best for your team's particular line up.

Of the options you mention #2 is your likely best bet...but you had better have a serious mack-daddy at MLB or he'll get eaten by the blockers.

Goal line defense can probably holds them to 2-3 yards, but leaves you very exposed if the HB breaks through, or if they pass.

This works well but if you miss a tackle or two it could be six.
