1. Florida, 4-0. This team is looking like king of the castle so far. Due to their dominance over Rochester over the last 3 seasons, they get the #1 nod. They are going to be tough to beat. Solid everywhere.
2. Rochester, 4-0. They've come a long way from the Cupcake team they were in season 3. Definitely a viable championship contender, IF they can figure out a way to beat Florida. Solid if not spectacular roster at every position. And they get coached up for the games.
3. Reno 3-1. Their loss was against a great team, and there are only 2-3 teams in the east that will even be in the game with them. They were a strong team last season, and are only looking better this season.
4. Yancy Street 3-1. They have a loss due to a tough interconference matchup. They have the talent to earn a home playoff game, but it remains to be seen whether they are in the same class as the conference elite of Florida, Rochester and Reno.
5. Thundertown Brawlers, 4-0. Saying you are the best of the rest in this conference is a lot like winning in the special olympics. By virtue of their record, Thundertown gets the nod here. Time will tell if they will be able to continue to beat up on the conference bottom feeders.
6. Port Moody Pain 3-1. They are looking like a legitimate playoff team right now, though they will probably not see the friendly confines of The House of Pain during the playoffs unless one of the top 4 implodes. Still, a solid and improving team that could make a run for it all next season.
7. Bronx Black Flag, 2-2. The coolest team in the conference, unfortunately not the most talented. They do have several good players which should allow them to beat up on the bottom feeders and earn themselves a playoff berth. "They don't have anything personal against us do they?" YOU BET THEY'VE GOT SOMETHING PERSONAL AGAINST YOU! (moshes)
8. Niagara Rapids, 1-3. If anything, this team has great depth! (One day I hope they explain to us why!). In a battle of who sucks the least, I think the Rapids pull off the last playoff spot, squeaking by former powerhouse Orlando, by virtue of their depth which will allow them to beat up on the bottom feeders.
The rest:
Could squeak into the playoffs somehow(in no particular order):
Orlando
Teikaku
Atlanta
Victoria
This year ain't looking so good.....and neither is next year!:
Hartford
Emmaus
Orleans
Grumpy Knights
