I'm new to this, I want a High Jumping/Posession WR.

The same way you would slow build any other position, really. I'd say to cap Catching, then Vision, then Jumping, then Strength, then max out your entire Possession SA Tree.

Vision only to 40? Really? And capped SPD/AGI on a possession reciever?

If you want to build a balanced WR, then do what kcdizz said.

dude you still need speed and agility. you won't catch a cold if you have like 20-40 speed/agility

I'd like to know what you would suggest?

I'd say 2nd softcap catching then 2nd softcap jumping, followed by softcapping speed and softcapping agility. Do whatever you'd like from there, but this should be a strong basis as a pure possession guy. Though 2nd softcapping speed/agility at some point might be an option, possession SA's (expecially route run) are money of course, and where to put equipment is your call (though catching and/or jumping might not be a bad route). Also 3rd softcapping jumping/catching at some point is an option as well.

I do highly suggest staying away from vision completely, but to each their own of course. No need to listen to crazy sam bolster, I got you back buddy.

People saying to softcap strength and vision over speed/agility are coming at this from the wrong angle imo. The player still needs to be a WR and have solid speed to get open, he doesn't need to be super aware or super strong to be a possession guy.

Hard to do:
Soft cap (2:1) speed, agility, catching, jumping, vision. Any order, probably benefit more early if you're playing games if you do speed/agi->catching first.
Confidence to 30, stamina to 35.
Possession SAs. Zone in on one at a time and make it 10 (including equipment, whichever you may use).

That's my idea of possession anyway.

How important is confidence to a posession WR?

Without putting a point into it you can train it up to 35 in a 2 or 3 seasons.

Thanks - so 35 is the target number, without investing SPs?

I also happen to think that a WR having all his equipment in jumping or catching sounds pretty cool...

Eventually but you will be training other things before that happens I assume.
