Long-time reader of the D-Line Club; first-time poster ~ wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the thread title. What levels of vision and confidence do y'all think are useful for a nose tackle, assuming that the rest of the build is whatever might strike you as satisfactory? At what point is throwing points into either attribute a waste, compared to stocking them for use on 2, 3, or even 4:1 skills or SAs?

Opinions will vary widely on vision...from don't ever spend points on them, to "softcap vision immediately."
There are merits to either argument
People have success with 20 confidence, and with 35+.
Whatever you decide, I would certainly train either or both of them to 30+ before you actually spend points on them.

i have both ~35, cant really tell a difference between performance as when they were at 15. sure, moral stays higher but thats a bit. im hoping more vision will let him read plays better and maybe get off the block and get the HB, but not sure. i've never spent points on either, just training

With the recent change, vision is more important. Might even help to get it soft-capped ASAP.
