I'm curious because it looks like most teams can't stop the run game and I'm trying to learn from the ones that do

I looked at a few and it was pretty grim

It's tough to stop the run and the pass in a collective effort! Best you can do is hope to limit your opponent to 3 ypc - I consider that a great day. One of the best ways is to keep their offense off the field and play situational run defense and really get to know the run playbook, ie spend a hell of a lot of time watching film and making changes.

Check out the Washington Bullets in the East. Great run defense there.

Right now with the new AI the offense is ahead of the defense right now. But I think it's a matter of time before all the defensive wizards in GLB figure out the different schemes and builds to slow down the offense.
