Trying to get these done quickly today as I want to watch the NFL. Hope you enjoy

1 (1) Black Watch (3-0)
Black Watch continue their undefeated start to the season with a routine victory over Carthage and they continue to look strong both passing and running the ball. They held Carthage to 40 yards on the ground from 23 carries and have been dominant against the run in their first 3 games, yielding only 137.5 yards. They now prepare for their week 4 showdown against the Monarchs in which only one team will come away with their undefeated record in tact.

2 (2) London Monarchs (3-0)
The Monarchs survived a scare against the Who Dats this week. Despite jumping out to a 21-3 lead in the first half, the Monarchs had to come from behind in the 4th quarter, courtesy of a pair of TD's from ever impressive back-up QB, Payton Tarkenton. Expect to see another high scoring affair in the Game of the Week against Black Watch next.

3 (4) Woodridge Lumberjacks (2-1)
Woodridge saw off the challenge of Berlin this week, grinding out a 23-21 victory, having to come from behind early in the game, in the process. The Lumberjacks, like early last season seem to be off their usual pace, but it was around this time last year that they went on to win something like 10 straight...

4 (5) Paris Philarmonic (2-1)
This is more like it from Paris. The 'Phillies' defense finally showed up this week as they easily disposed of AWC and rolled to 2-1. An almost faultless performance from their QB duo and over 150 yards on the ground gave them the 'W'.

5 (6) Dinas Mawddwy Red Bandits (2-1)
The Red Bandits move to 2-1 with victory over Chicago Rocks after exploding in the 2nd quarter for 30 points. A couple of TD's in the back end of the 4th quarter made the game look closer than it was. The Red Bandits' playoff credentials will be measured in a tough matchup against Paris next.

6 (8) Wembley Warriors (2-1)
Wembley moves up a couple of places after another close victory this week, this time against the Mercs. The Warriors look like they may have gone some way to sort the defensive problems they had after week one, holding their opponents to under 250 yards. They'll want to pick up as many wins as possible in the next 5 or so games, as their schedule gets more difficult come the end of the season.

7 (3) E-City Mercenaries (1-2)
Despite only losing by a margin of 3 points, the Mercs were outgained by twice as many yards on offense against the Warriors. They have a chance to rebound in the next two weeks against two teams that are reeliing from 0-3 starts to the season in FTA and Berlin.

8 (7) Stuttgart Nighthawks (2-1)
Despite victory, the Nighthawks move down a place in this week's ranking. Their victory over Toledo was to be expected after it was announced that the Swords will now be disbanded. So far, Stuttgart looks much improved from last season and if they can pull off victories in their next couple of games, people will start to take notice of them.

9 (9) London Minotaurs (2-1)

10 (11) Lake Charles Who Dats (1-2)

11 (10) Chicago Rocks (1-2)

12 (14) Fightin' Texas Aggies (0-3)

13 (15) Berlin Blitzkrieg (0-3)

14 (13) Aberdeen Wrecking Crew (0-3)

15 (16) Carthage Army of Darkness (0-3)

16 (12) Toledo Swords (0-3)

i like it! we'll see if we can continue our win streak against that tough paris team. we owe them one for beating us by 1 point the season before last in the conference finals but it looks like we are gonna have to put on our best game if we want to pull it out.

Sorry

For the record, I was very close to putting you guys in the top 8, but thought it would be unfair to move other teams down. That defense is looking quite impressive so far

The Red Bandits appreciate the love. I am not sure we deserve it yet though. Knowing how the Minotaurs dominated us last season in the play-off makes me think that we are in for a hard fought 15 games.

We are working hard but this match-up against the Philharmonic will be a telling game for us.

Thanks for all of the hard work in making these threads!

I'm really looking forward to the rematch with Dinas, yes, we all remembered the 1-point win in conference championship game. Good luck to both teams
