Both RB's are in 43-45 range on vision, levels 32/34. They don't have this problem on pitches or outside runs. Just the RB pass play.

Comments? I like the play and how it sets up, but can't keep it in with returns like this.

This isn't new. There have been a few complaints about the whole, RB running back inside on screen plays.

maybe the RB has his tactics set to combo..might need to be set on elusive, I personally like the WR screen and that play works right..usually goes for a TD if the player is fast enough.

I would take the RB screens out of the playbook.
Too unreliable.

Singleback WR screen is a huge exploit against a poorly set up defense right now.

Thankfully Hakone used it against Georgetown in the preseason, so I'm ready for it now.

Edit:

I realized I used the word exploit, which is a naughty word in GLB. It's not an exploit by GLB gaming standards. It's just a word. Nobody freak out, kay?

Thanks for the replies guys. I am sorry to hear about the unreliability of the plays, but my own eyes tell me the same thing.

I don't understand the reasons though. This should be an easy bug to squash I would think.

On that WR Screen play, would you be able to move the TE to the left?

yeah i think so..i know i set it in my setting to pass block left, and i think it worked out that way.

Alright thanks. I watched a replay where they had the TE on the left, but the TE seems to just drop straight back so I'm not sure it makes much of a difference either way.

It would matter versus a shift and CB/LB blitz. Shifting the TE essentially turns him into the OT, where he handles the edge.

And Mellow, I have no idea if my defense will work, hold it to no gain, hold it to 10 yards, or give up a TD. I'm pretty sure we haven't seen that play again since Hakone burned us 3 times on it.
