I'm new to kicking. I've heard that kickers need some agility, but is this true? How much do they need?

Agility, speed, and jumping are minor attributes that help "kicking mechanics." At level 2, work on kicking first, then confidence, then kicking some more. Don't even think about touching these minor attributes until you're level 25-30 or so.

Where did you hear that jumping helps kickers? I know a while back Bort responded to a post by saying that agility and speed help both Kickers and Punters and then he added that in the case of Punters jumping also helps which seemed to exclude kickers.

Eh, maybe it does, maybe it doesn't. In this game, nobody really knows when it comes to kicking.

I've heard of the jumping thing, but screw that.
Work on kicking, strength, and vision. Then confidence.

Its good to train, but don't put any level up points into it. Save that for the main 4 attributes and the skill tree.

People have been throwing out "Kickers need jumping, agility and speed to kick" for seasons now. There is no evidence.
My own personal belief is that Speed, Agility and Jumping have an extremely small, if not entirely negligible, effect on the kicking calculation.
My kicker has 20 in speed/agility/jumping, and has a better made kick percentage than pretty much every level 32+ kicker in the game, even the ones with 40 for speed/agility. People who have spent the equivalent of 6 levels worth of Skill Points for no return. My kicker is about 4 levels behind them, yet has better stats and SA's in the main kicking areas.
