Hello I am therichone coming to you live form Beantown. the crowd behind me is cery excited about football season and I am sure all of you are too. Beantown will take on the Saint Paul Vulcans later today and it has promised to be a great one. Looking at some teams in the league though it is safe to say that the BBB 12 is very different. Some great teams last year are all gone. Teams like the Thunder, the SLUGs, the Plauge and the George Washingtons. In the East we lost the Blaze the Outbreak and the Fight. A few teams have also minorly gutted like the All Stars and Toxins. Some franchises also folded like Aurora and Hellas as well as some from the East. Folks also if you notice the Inter-Conference games are this week. These are some of my favorites and they always seem to deliver. Before we make some predictions lets break down each conference starting with the West.
The Western Conference
The Contenders
Out in the West experts agree that their are 6 teams with a relatively good shot at the conference title. Those 6 teams are the Mighty Chihuahuas, the Big Bear Avalanche, the Dallas Hitmen, the Long Beach Dub All-Stars, the Beantown Bastards and the Washington Wookiees. Now lets break these teams down and talk about their strengths and weaknesses.

Mighty Chihuahuas
Mighty thrives on their balanced offense and high chemistry. They have one of the best QBs in the league with Shooter Slinger and one of the best HBs in Chuck Bowen. Just Wolf would appear to be Shooter's favorite target and I expect them to hook up many tomes this year. Mighty's main weakness on offense would appear to be depth and their inactives on O-Line. They lack serious depth at a few positions including HB and WR and 4 out of 8 of their O Linemen are inactive at this time. On defense this team is absolutly stacked. Pig Bloater is stuffing up the middle as a NT and Troy Ruben and Bull Charger own the ends. The two star LBs are Buck McFreely and Pain Mcgraw, but besides them they lack LB depth. Ray Von Lester is the star CB, accomponied by the inactive Joćo Jb and the acitve Another CornerBack. Steve "Boots" Peters plays SS and Green Shoes is the star FS. Over all these guys win using a balanced offensive attack and a swarm defense. Their excellent chemestry makes it even harder to beat them.

Big Bear Avalanche
These guys are new to the league after demotion but have finally found some weaker ground to train on. These guys happen to thrive on depth and great chemistry. They only have one inactive on the roster which is also a big boost to a team. The QB, Billy Jack Black, is average and will have a huge impact on how he performs. The HB is Dareus Smith who is also average and can impact this team. Max Gregory is the go to guy and needs to be a clutch WR. Justin Tamme is a got to guy at TE and could pose a big threat. The line is solid but some good DEs or DTs can get through. Their are no real stand outs on defense as they are all even but this theam is very balnced.

Dallas Hitmen
Ah my team. One of 3 teams who have had the same franchise and have been in the league sense season 2. They have never made the playoffs but now are serious contenders. The offense is lead by QB Candall Runningham and Dallas expects big things out of him this year. Terrence Love is the star HB and he will need to score some points in order to keep Dallas in the hunt. Sean Sweeney is the go to guy and he is accompinied by Catch #6. The O-Line looks solid but lacks some depth. On defense Nosy Nelson and Yo G plug up the holes as Dts and the Hitmen boast a rare combo of 3 unstopable DEs in K Johnson, Either End and Run Around. The LB core is lead by Pete And Repeat and followed by two new pick ups Grimy Reaper and Jay Taylorson. Matt Lasher leads the secondary and One Hitta Quitta is a monster SS. The Hitmen do not have a human FS at this time and are forced to play CB/KR Master Lock their.

Long Beach Dub All-Stars

Sorry Guys the rest is coming soon.

Speaking at the Gumbo Bowl pregame press conference, just hours before kick-off, the offensive co-ordinator for the Chihuahuas said, "Yeah, we're starting to feel the heat now. Everyone's pumping us up and tipping us for domination so it's kinda hard not to feel some pressure. It doesn't help when we look on the other side of town and see what's happening to the Cowboys. All that said we feel very comfortable with our team and will continue to take it one game at a time."
