I have a piece of AEQ that I consider the holy grail, (+1 Big Boot +2 Confidence before the first upgrade which was a +1 punting) and I just rolled another AEQ that also has Big boot and no other stat. I was wondering if it would be smart to get that one too. I'm basically going to be able to do three upgrades this season to make them one +2 Big Boot +2 Confidence +punting and the other +2 Big Boot +2 Punting.


should I do it. I'm leaning towards yes because at the 32 upgrade I'll have a total 6 big boot plus with advanced equipment, I would only have to get Big Boot to 3 to max it out at 10 saving a cubic butt load of SPs.

Another advantage to using 2 pieces of AEQ is that they cost less to upgrade, especially at level 32.

The downside to not using standard equipment is that you lose the +4 punting each would give you at level 24. But like you said you could put the points you would have spent on Big Boot and put them into punting, or just get BB really high really early and keep launching them through the end zone

I'd buy both. You don't have to wear both right away though.

thats what I'm thinking. I'm wearing the one with +2 confidence already and it's been upgraded once already. I have 5 bonus tokens saved up already and will get another one before the season starts, so by day 10 I'll upgrade it again and get +2 big boot 2 confidence and 2 punting on it, which is better than a straight +4 punting. I'll have the other piece sitting and I'll up grade it once during the season and have about 6 tokens for next season, If luck is with me, Bort will allow training next offseason and I can get two bonus tokens to make up the gap and that piece will be a +2 Big Boot +2 Punting, which I think is still better than a straight +4 punting.

I don't think it is worthwhile depending on where you are at the punting cap. If you are at the 9 cap then +4 punting EQ would equal 36 skill points while your +2 punting +2 Big Boot (let's assume you have it at level 13 so the benefit from the Adv. EQ would be 8+9 skill points to get it to level 15) so you would get 1 full skill point less by using the ADV EQ in this situation.

I've gone through at least 15 shopping tokens on my punter and never gotten even a single Big Boot. Now I know what happened to them.

I got Big Boot on my second shopping trip. I felt really happy about it until I saw that llok found one with BB & +2 Confidence! Mine's already been upgraded twice though

believe it or not, the big boot and confidence one was only after 2 or 3 tries, and I got the other BB piece the very next roll. I still need like $5,000 to get it and I have 3 wasted shopping tokens left, cause I think 2 AEQ will be plenty.
