If I want to split blitzes between two positions do I:
max # blitzer:1
LB 50%
CB 50%

or will the system automatically calc % if I do this:
max # blitzer: 1
LB 100%
CB 100%

If you want a blitz on every play do the second one. It will randomly choose one blitzer between the two on each play. The first option could result in no blitz at all on a play.

Make 2 outputs, each at equal weight. Design 1 play to blitz Player A and design the second to blitz Player B. Make the computer decide which play it will use.

I agree with Billy. Not sure how your second option would play out but it might work.

I have some plays set up where I have 1 max blitzer but I do not designate who. I only put 0s by the positions I do not want to blitz. I guess this lets the computer decide, with the understanding that I may not have a blitzer.

The blitzing percentage for each player is a waste of code. Just make additional plays and split the chance to call it the way you want.

the percentages work, go with option 2, no need for two inputs

Looks like the board is split.

My playbook is set. I have already made the bulk [95% or better] of my outputs. If BerkeyTerps has seen the split work, then go for it.

I'm also trying the split today, so I'll post back here. I went with 100% output, 1 max blitzer, and 2 guys at 100% blitz in that output.

I'll let you know for sure tonight. Maybe it won't be useful to you but will help someone else.

Correct me if I am wrong....

You make a play where you want 2 blitzers. You always want player A blitzing so you set him to 100%. You want player B and Player c splitting the blitzes so you give them both 50%. You set your max blitzers to 2. The play comes up. Player A blitzes but no one else does... you say WTF. That's because both B and C rolled a 51+ on a 1-100 roll. Neither blitz. That's an unintended consequence of the system.

I'd just make the 2 plays and have the control.....unless you don't mind the unintended consequences.

I usually set more people to blitz at 100% than I choose for blitzers, exactly because of the issue above. If you set guys at less than 100% they may not blitz at all.

But if you set all three players to 100% wouldn't it randomly pick 2 player randomly?

But what Llyranwyar is saying is that you want player A to blitz all the time and B and C to switch, If you have all 3 at 100% with 2 blitzers max, B and C may blitz and not A. A is the guy you want blitzing everyplay, hence the need for more outputs.
