Question

When setting up the O AI with the playbook I know you set your playbook to use the plays you want

My question is if I set the following

Pass/StrongI/Medium/TE (Primary Receiver) will it automatically take a look at the TE plays under the Medium Pass Playbook or will it use any Medium Pass out of that formation?

That is my assumption. If you select the formation, the primary reciever, and the distance it is going to sort by that criteria. Only plays with all 3 criteria will be used. That is the way the advanced AI has worked since day one so I have to assume it is continuing with the same logic.

newer oc please forgive if question is obvious. if you don't use play book in with AI i am assuming all plays are drawn from, and if you use a specific play book only those are used. again sorry if ? is obvious.

I think what he's asking though, is will it only select plays with that criteria from your Custom book, or will it select from all plays with that criteria?

Exactally... if I have 3 Plays in Pass/Medium Set up (2 WR plays and 1 TE play) and I set the output for TE will it pull that 1 TE play or 1 of the 3?

The way I read it from the AI screen is that it will pull only play in your book, unless you set up a situation without a play in your book.

So in your example you set Under Medium TE 1 play, Under Medium WR 2 plays.

If you call a Medium TE pass it will call the same play every time.
If you call a medium WR pass it will randomly call from those 2.

Here's the line that makes me think this, though before your question I wasn't real sure either until I read it. lol

"If you choose a play calling situation that is not available in your custom playbook, a similar play will be selected, but you should make sure you have a play in your playbook for each situation you want to select."
