This was our (SEA's) idea and Oceania is lining up to accept our challenge

***Let's shoot to have our roster finalized by DAY 0 so that we can get our scrims offered w/in a short time span mid-season***

Will be only one game per team, all to be played on the same day around midseason (day 16ish) to give coaches time to get settled with the new AI as well as not be a distraction for the playoffs

Oceania Pro has our challenge posted up in their forum: http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=1354626 and already has 17 interested teams.

Here's our final list and we can do a full on 17 on 17. I'll talk with the Oceania rep and will get back to everyone about setting up the scrims. It was easier to just go off of last year's finishes rather than try to speculate who is better than who right now. Clearly there isn't a wide talent gap between may of the teams. If you are ranked lower than you think you should be, take out that anger by proving it and beating your Oceania counterpart

1. East St Louis Tire Fires
2. NACJAC (Neo Armstrong Cyclone Jet Armstrong Cannon)
3. Bandar Lumpung Pigskin Pirates
4. Bangkok Seamen
5. Ho Chi Mean Hot Mamas
6. Taiwan Blood Pandas
7. Singapore Marauders
8. Krakatoan Red Warriors
9. Bangkok Tweetys
10. Port Moresby Titans
11. Hong Kong Highlanders
12. Manila Hitmen
13. Louisiana Screaming Pelicans
14. Mekong Monsoon
15. Hong Kong Hustlers
16. South Austin Bats
17. Kentucky Colonels

Also, so far the theme suggested is "Pacific Cup".. Perhaps we can think of a more creative/befitting name than that?

How about something to do with Orwell's 1984, in which Oceania stops warring with EurAsia and instead declares that it has 'always been at war with EastAsia'..?

Oceania Pro is a tough, rugged league. Teams signing up for this had better start coming up with snazzy gameplans along wth a snazzy tourney name, or they'll do us like they did SA Pro...

We can't gameplan yet when we haven't seem them in action with the new AI yet, nor do we know who we're yet playing against.. for the most part. Point taken though, Oceania Pro is no joke. Teams that sign up for this should expect to put in the effort when the time comes

Yay! Maybe I'll get to play myself. I always wanted to know how ESL and VKS would do against each other.
