With the new teams in and old teams out, who do you think are the preseason favorites? Players to watch?

East: Lycans

West: Amish

Honestly, I think it's going to be a toss-up in the East between Appalachian and Lincoln...

Houston Appalachian and Lincoln in the east

Lycans and Warriors could go either way. Gonna be great to watch it though.

preseason favorites to:

win the east: lycans
win the west: chicago whodats
win it all: lycans
east mvp: devil hester
west mvp: bigeyedbilly

Good idea, I am not so good at predicting MVPs but I will give my predictions for the other stuff...

Eastern Conference Champs - Appalachian Lycans (against the Freedom Warriors)
Western Conference Champs - LA Chupacabras
Win it all - Appalachian Lycans

My reasons for choosing Lycans over Lincoln has to do largely with Huskers lamenting over the loss of several key players and an inability to replace them (as far as I know)

Lycans in the east, LA or the Farmers, for the west, dunno. I'll pick the Farmers simply because I always hated LA traffic!

Lycans win it all.

East: Lycans...as they beat the Freedom Warriors in the Final and the Samurai in the Semi-final.
West : Whodats

I dunno about the west, but I'm going to go with Lycans in the East, winning over Lincoln.

We'll know by the middle of December. The Amish have a chance, but the East teams are favored, so, ... we'll see. I'm just looking forward to the season beginning and some exciting games. I'm not a trash talker, so I won't engage in that behaviour, the best we can hope for is just to have some fun. We have scrimmage games with the best the East have to offer, but we'll set our tactics conservative so as not to give anything away for a later date. Best of luck to all.
