I love corner backs so I did an experiment. Nothing is really conclusive it was just for fun.
I took a build and gave all 15 s.p.'s to a certain attribute to see how it would effect the bars.
I rolled till I got a 16 for every attribute one by one, except for the ones that stay 10 on every roll. I also trained the attribute up to 17 on 3 normal trainings before I used the 15 points.
Str. +3 tackling
Speed + 6 pass bar
agility +3 pass bar
Jumping +3 pass bar
Vision +3 pass bar
catching 0 for all
stamina 0 for all
confidence 0 for all
carrying 0 for all
this leads me to believe speed is the most important attribute for pass defense. This is obvious, I know.
Then agility and vision being important. again common knowledge.
But Jumping registers 4th important on the pass bar. I think a lot of people would be confused on what the 4th important attribute for pass defense is. I think It is jumping.
I think catching, stamina, confidence, all work together on the over all bar. And catching helps interceptions of course. But i think you need the big 4 first for catching to really start mattering in pass defense.
