say if i want to run "corner threat" a pass to the TE. do i pick my settings as: pass, medium, shotgun formation, te primary receiver? or is there a chance it will run something else since there is a similar play to the te in that formation?

My understanding is that setup would either run Corner Threat or In N Out. If you took In N Out out of the playbook, then you would get Corner Threat.
