Level 4 (75% -> 5)

Throwing: 49.2
Vision: 23.2
Confidence: 18.2
Strength: 13.2
Stamina: 13.2
Speed: 10.6
Agility: 10.6

Currently training vision/confidence on intense.
The plan is to 2:1 cap vision,
then 3:1 throwing,
2:1 confidence,
strength >=35,
stamina 35,
agility and speed to 20-25,
then invest in field gen.

Thoughts/modifications?

3:1 cap Throwing before touching Vision so you can reap the benefits of automatic attribute bonuses more efficiently. TBQH, I would actually 4:1 cap Throwing ASAP so that then you don't ever have to touch it again and it will be at 100 by level 32 with equipment. Think about it --- you can get Throwing up to 69.4 by level 12, so that means that by level 24, it'll be 73.9, and by level 32, it'll be 75.55, 101.55 with all equipment. And that's without touching it since level 12.

From my research, I came up with my opinion the best way to slow level a QB. It will take three season of no boosting. One season in the D leagues does not make a slow leveled QB.

first Season

Start out by training Throwing and vision. I would do this to the point that I could bring vision to the first soft cap (48) and keep training till the game right before you'll get the extra point in the soft cap (between .60 and .80) and then put the points into vision. For the rest of season 1 I would train only throwing and strength. By this time you'll have enough points to to bring throwing to the first soft cap I would do this then and actually go to the second soft cap with it before putting points into strength.

Season 2

No need to really horde sps this season. Spend all SPs to bring throwing to 2nd soft cap (60) and Strength to first soft cap (48) once this is done you can go back to hording SPs. All of the second season, train nothing but confidence and stamina. You should be able to get both of these to about 30 by seasons end.

Season 3

Train nothing but speed and agility all season and probably from here on out. They are important attributes but not enough to spend points on. By the end of this season you should be about 22-24 or somewhere close and have 20-30 SPs saved up with vision around 55 strength around 50 and throwing around 62 or 63. Confidence and Stamina should be in the low 30s and speed and agility around 25 to 30.

From here you can basically build your QB how ever you want, putting in SAs and raising attributes where you want them.

basically you'll be about 4 or 5 levels ahead of a normal boosted level player.

llok i like the order but what about stamina thru those first few seasons? seems to me that it has to be training priority # 1 (after initial soft caps) until it hits 35ish, at least, which takes more than just one season. I think most of season 3 should be devoted to alternating training STAM/AGIL with STAM/SPD. I can't justify spending a single SP in stamina, and by season 4 you'll need at least 35 STAM unless your spilting time/backing up.

Also, i don't think its worth getting throwing past the 3-1 cap (if that) before any other stat. Lots of other stats are vital, and automatic leveling points fade after the first few seasons. Unless you can realistically completely sacrifice more than your first 2 or 3 seasons, I think a more balanced building method is more viable/interesting. I don't have enough players or patience to let a guy slow build for more than two seasons, guys with 20 players and unlimited boosts go ahead and save a handful or two SP.

Do exactly what llok says if you want to look like every other below-average QB on GLB.

I'll be honest, I'm not very big on strength so that kind of hindered my acceptance of your plan. I think soft capping it before your WRs are very fast and capable of consistently making deep routes is a bad idea.

if he is slow building, his stats till he's level 24 won't matter. By the time he is 24, his Wr won't have a problem catching soft capped strength passes. Plus you'll save around 10 sps on strength.

Slow building is not about getting stats early, it's about saving having more SPs to spend than others your level. Do what you want, but I never seen anyone have a problem with soft capped strength as long as their Throwing is 10-20 more than their strength.

Do what you want though.

Also http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=918619 isn't being slow built since you already boosted him. The point of slow building is not boosting for 3 season to maximize the increased xp you gain at lower levels. Just by boosting from 1-4 you lost almost of full levels worth of xp. Also you lost a ton of training in throwing which would of saved you 5 to 6 sps even if that was the first one you capped. Your not building a slow build QB, you basically building a gimped level 16 cap over booster by boosting to 4 season 5 instead of rolling it in week 9 or 10 and getting the xp, training and saving 900 points for wasting 3 boost.

Too each their own though

The character isn't boosted (check creation date). He isn't slow building in the sense that he merely distributes his stats to attain soft caps, like you're suggesting. That's something everyone should do until they're in a competitive league. He's slow building in the sense that the only thing that will level him is training experience. Look at his stats. He hasn't squandered a thing.

You're kind of a retard. Please go back to your guide thread and stop being a retard in mine.
I was asking for build advice, ie: this stat is more important, that stat is less important, etc. Not advice on how to maximize stat gains, I'm already doing that.
