I am going to try to do these each week and see if you guys like it. In the special pre-season addition I will include all teams but during the season I will probably just list the top 8. Remember that some teams have not yet signed recruits, so I must go on the current roster which may look completely different come game time.
West
1. Mighty Chihauhaus
Mighty is only 1 of about 5 teams in the West without a completely gutted roster. Their only real threat this year is Dallas since Long Beach basicly gutted. They can probably not even change their tactics and go 16-0, but we all know that upsets can happen.
2. Dallas Hitmen
At first you look and say wow that is completely biased. Then you take the time to actually look through all the rosters. All the teams I thought may go up here have all been gutted, like Long Beach, Aurora and Hellas. Their only real challenges are going to be Beantown and Big Bear and of course Mighty. I really expect a 15-1 season from these guys.
3. Beantown Bastards
Again you look at this and go wtf but they really are the only other team that has taken this game seeriously. They can compete with Dallas for the 2 seed and I do not expect them to be tested besides Dallas and Mighty. If they can make some more signing they can be very dangerous.
4. Washington Wookies
Yeah you do not expect these guys to be this high at all. They have not really chhanged anything from their roster and they jump from a non playoff team to a probable home playoff team. That is what gutting can do for you though. They are going to have to scratch and claw if they want to compete with the top 3 though.
5. Big Bear Avalanch
Welcome new guys! This team does not appeared to be gutted they just do not have a great roster. If they just recruited a little harder they would be up their. These guys may suprise me though, I can see them passing us for 2nd place. It really all depends on their game plans and if they can make a few key moves to compete.
6. Minnesota Wolverines
You know something is wrong when Minnesota is guarenteed a playoff spot. I have never seen 1 player, GM. or Owner post and they have not recruited at all. They suck every year and with their same roster they can suddenly jumo from a cupcake to a contender. Yeah if you are not convinced that BBB is trash now then you are a dumb ass.
7. Palmetto Bugs
At this point I am in so much shock I do not really fell like doing a write up. I will anyway though. Agian this team has not made any big moves and have sucked every year. Now they can fall asleep and make the playoffs. It makes no sense, but it is what Bort invisioned with all the promotions.
8. Houston Toxins
Your first thoughts when reading that these guys are projected to make the playoff is "what I though they." Yeah they did the West is seriously just that bad. Luckily for the Toxins they are the last serious team so they would have to gut to not make the playoffs, and even then they may still make it. Wow is all I have to say.
9. Long Beach Dub All Stars
They gutted, but they still have a little talent left to be ranked higher then the other teams. If they could even sign some level 25s to fill the gaps they could beat out Houston for the last playoff spot. Yeah Long Beach that is my advice to you so use it wisely.
10. Hell's Phoenix
Yes Hell's Phoenix. They are slow building but are still better then 6 teams in the league. I don't know if I should laugh at this or realize how bad a once dominant conference was.
11. Aurora Seminoles
It is tough. They have some high level inactives and the rest of the holes will be replaced with CPUs. I just have to think those inactives will get them by the 3 CPU teams but I am not really sure.
12. Seattle Monsoon
They have like 4 humans on their roster. That will let them beat the other 2 CPU teams.
13. Minnesota Shockers
They are ranked higher then Hellas because Hellas fluked their way into the playoffs last year. So yeah, they are higher then Hellas because I hate Hellas.
14. Hellas Longhorns
I hate you guys, but now all their is to hate are CPU players and a coach. Good luck CPU.
15. Lakewood Lancers
Ok so we have a battle of 2 humans on Lakewood vs. 3 CPUs on Mile High. I will take the humans but barely.
