As the title says, got a +3% chance to break tackle in my advanced equipment roll. Seemed amazing, but now I wonder if maybe a SA ability would be better.

Upgraded it once for a +1 attribute and +2%, for a total of +1 attribute and +5% to break tackle.

I think that the +% to do something ones are overrated, because it takes your normal chance to do it and makes that 100%, then adds the +% to that. So if you have a 10% chance to break a tackle, having a piece of AE with +5% break tackle chance gives you 105% of 10%, which is 10.5%, not 10% + 5% = 15%.

how do you know that? its says 5% higher chance. not 5% of your original chance added on. do you have a link to Bort saying that?

So when upgrading a piece of EQ that has a +1 SA on it, does that mean for every upgrade, it gets an additional +1?

So at level 2, it would +1 stat and +2 SA? If so, I supposed I will start getting somre more shopping tokens and upgrade a different piece. I would imagine a SA could get pretty nifty!

SAs upgrade every 2 times. so level 8 upgrade still=1 for SA level 16=2 level 24=2 level 32=3 level 40= 3 level 48= 4

Isn't Break tackle % about the same as Lower Shoulder or Power Through..don't they just give you a % to breaking tackles? Break tackle % might be better because it's working all the time.
