Congratulations to NBSK and the Rushmores, two very deserving teams. We all knew it was coming sooner or later for both of you guys - glad it came before realignment.

Rapid City feels the same way. Seems like we've been the favorite to advance a few seasons in a row and constantly fell short in the playoffs.

Good game nike-joe, I knew we were going to lose. We beat teams that beat you and for some reason we just never seem to be able to beat you. You are our windmill..

And yes..... While NBSK certainly has been the more publicized hard-luck story in this league, we've been wallowing in the same misery for a couple seasons winning out the regular season only to take a crap in the playoffs, so yeah.... It's nice....

I hate to say it, but we're going to try hard to win the championship but it feels like the monkey is already off our backs..... We'll try not to have too much of a "We're just happy to be here" syndrome in the last game...

But you guys were never the overwhelming favorites like NBSK have been in the past (notably last season). NBSK could win 18 straight blowout wins then lose the conference championship game. There was always a lot more parity in the West (though, the East was pretty even at the top this season).
