Well, we know for sure what four teams will escape BBB. Some more of us may make it out depending on how many CPU teams drop down.

No matter how it all shakes up, I just want to say I really have enjoyed this league. I have no hard feelings towards Admerylous, or any of his players, including "The Great One." It's only a game, and the back and forth banter make it feel even more like real football.

You earn your right to talk trash, and you deserve it when you get caught with your foot in your mouth. I only hope that whatever league my team lands in next season that it is as fun as this one has been.

A special thank you to Freemont, and a special mahalo to ISB for both pushing us to be our best this year. I have no doubt those games could have gone the other way. Hope we get to fight it out again next season.

Congratulations to Tulsa, French Lick, Boston, and Washington.

I honestly believe the best four teams made the conference finals, and you all deserve recognition for your hard work.

I'm under the impression from my glancing at the AA-A leagues that there are a good chunk of computer or greatly outmatched teams that are candidates for moving down.
I think there is a good chance most of us will stick together (hopefully).

well, I think we know who the top 4 teams that could move and we are in the play offs.

Are we even sure more than 4 teams will move up? 2 automatically move up, and the league above us has 3 CPU teams and 2 leagues to pull replacements from. The leagues further up the chain have more CPU teams, but they have dozens of leagues to pull from so no guarantee we get a team up due to that. Unless Bort follows through on the flagging non-CPU teams that just aren't cutting it and demoting them, which is starting to be questioned...we may only see the 4 of us move up imo.

I'll break it down because I'm bored. Just raw numbers of CPU teams in the leagues above us (not the same track we're on).

Pro - 4
AAA1 - 1
AAA2 - 3
AA 1 - 3
AA2 - 3
AA3 - 0
AA4 - 0
A1 - 0
A2 - 3
A3 - 3
A4 - 1
A5 - 1
A6 - 2
A7 - 2
A8 - 1

Actually, 4 automatically move up. They changed it for this season. You guys will move up even after Tulsa spanks you.

Also, are they or are they not also relegated gutted or otherwise entirely uncompetitive teams down? I was under the impression they were.

Me too, but Bort's latest statements have curiously neglected to mention anything other than sending the CPUs down. There was talk of flagging noncompetitive teams, which would be awesome and a lot of work, but maybe he merely meant noncompetitive = CPUs.

So, I know what our track is but one thing I am curious about, if you are in the WC or EC, when you move up to you always stay in that conference?

Since the CPU teams are not balanced in each conference on the way up, I imagine that will cause some shakeup.

From what I understand from Norse, the plan is now to do the aggressive promotion/relegation (4 per league), move all CPU to the bottom, and bump up teams depending on number of CPUs going down. It doesn't look like there will a mass reorg where slow build or non CPU gutted teams go down as well.

So, we may have less teams move up than we thought before. Although, who knows. 15 more teams could sell or not be renewed at the end of the season.

Here's what you can realistically expect...

1) The 4 team promotion/relegation.
2) All CPU teams dropping to BBBs and getting reset to a default team status.
3) A manual review of the teams by the admins to drop obvious slow build teams or gut/rebuild teams to more competitive levels. This is solely a their discretion, 1-1,000 could move, who really knows.
4) Owner requests sent in via support. This is last on the priority list they're not sure they'll be able to even get to it.

So what this all boil down to? For BBB #4, you can realistically expect 3-4 teams from each conference to move up. How the 3rd and 4th teams are determined depend on playoff record and scrimmage records. So, if you're on the bubble and want to move up, win your scrimmages. If you want to stay in BBB4, lose you scrimmages.
