Interesting as someone else made a thread about if gutted/non-competitive teams would get moved and it got deleted as well.
Guess that topic is taboo
Not even locked threads just plain deleted....if you are unhappy we just censor you heh

Basically I was saying that if they do a half assed reorganization and just replace CPU teams then Im out. Im not buying any more FPs until I see the reorganization.
There are a lot of teams that dont belong in this league, thats not to dog them, but people inherited teams in a Pro league and had little chance to rebuild. There are the exceptional cases of Greek, being a really good team and USSR and Chernobyl being also quite good, but not quite there yet. However, as we see from the other shipwrecks and half projects, its really hard to recruit to a pro league the quality of players you need to compete.
We need a full reorganization and if its just the CPU teams like Bort said in the thread that is linked on all of our homepages, last night .. then I am done.
Oh .. and I said that NO algorithm is going to fix anything .. it has to be people who sit down and actually sort out what a good team is. There is such a big mess that we cant even figure out what a good team is .. a good team in EE Pro means something COMPLETELY different from a different league, because even if I look at scores, what does that mean .. if a team blows out another team 255-0 that doesnt mean they are actually competitive, it just means that they are good enough to crush a CPU team, but not good enough to hang within 50 of an actually good team.
Also .. average level, that doesnt work either. Why doesnt that work? Because 1) offseason changes things 2) I have several CPU players on my team, are they factored in? I also have 2 players on my team that are "fillers", they still dominate sometimes, but there is no mistake, they exist because we are short at snaps at some positions and one of our agents has the cash to have two snap sponges.
Its hard to tell who is actually a competitive team without knowing the situation in the league and thats why I know this reorganization is going to fail, because Bort is just going to run some macro script that reorganizes the leagues based on some pre-set criterion and then its going to fail, because the same template doesnt work across all leagues. The best way to do this would have been to have the leagues themselves reorganize themselves, but I figure that Bort thinks that, that would cause too much arguing, however what will happen now is a half assed attempt at fixing things, which seems to be the GLB norm.

Any time somebody mentions that they will not purchase flex points anymore or will become disinterested with the game, their voice whittles away into nothingness on the forums, based on my observations...Either through their own means of throwing the hands up in the air, or by...other...means.
That your thread was trashed is no surprise....

They'll delete negative posts real quick. Posting a positive suggestion is much more likely to get any traction. I haven't noticed any suggestions about a league or region commish who's job is to report directly to support about such issues, but that may be a way to gain some traction with the devs. I'd post it on the suggestion forums but I know you'd be more vigilant about it. They could simply give the commish the access to a special forum that lets them talk with the devs in a less banter filled environment.

Two league commissioners. One for East and one for West. Pick teams you want in your league back and forth like picking teams for dodgeball in gym class. This will put teams were they belong. Have to do it every season though like a draft because half the SOB's getting teams will quit anyways even if it is competitive.

I like that idea, I've always been a big fan of private (or even self governed) leagues and would love to see something like that. Perhaps even other scheduling options could eventually come into play.
Anything that limits the limitless banter of the suggestion forums and gets solid info straight to Bort will hold more weight with him.

probably.
When a good idea comes forward, no matter who it's from BTW, 9 times out of ten it is shot down as unusable or it's just players complaining because they didn't look into the future to use the ""proper"" builds.
When something doesn't work well or a lot of people complain at the same time we are all reminded that this game is in ""Beta""
and the thread is locked or deleted, LOL.
