Is it true that you can shed blocks better with points put into blocking??

From what I have read nobody has been able to confirm this. Most seem to say it might be worth training but not putting skill points into.

Yes, it is a fact and it has been confirmed by Bort a few times in the past.
No, it is not a secret skill that, once improved, will be solely responsible for grabbing sacks and making tackles.
Pumping it up to 50 without the adequate skills to support it, for example, is about as useless as pumping up any skill without those that synergize with it. So don't listen to people that claim it "does nothing," just because they've tried to make a DE with nothing but blocking, as if that's some kind of logical method for testing.
With that said... I'm in the "it might be worth training but not putting skill points into" party. I haven't tested it, but I think it's safe to say it would be most useful for more balanced builds, and I wouldn't be surprised if its effectiveness was tied heavily to vision (think of how there's a relationship between jumping, and catching for receivers... if blocking helps defenders understand how they are being blocked, and hence can defeat it more easily, then surely improved vision would help with that, right?).

Ok I'm taking your word on it. I already was like 4th in my league in hurries so this better work, or I'm gonna find you and take it on your team in a friendly
Kidding of course. Thanks for the advice guys.

Like vision right? Except for the part about not putting points into it.

At what # in blocking did you start seeing an improvement?

i saw it start improvin at the 23 to 25 range and gets progressivly better as it goes up. but i wouldnt recommend putting points into it i just train it.
