depends on the defense..its very easy to tell if a defense has an ai set up to stop the pitch..also, hb speed helps a lot as well as wr blocking

pitches can get big gains but also are the most risky for tfls.

Against a good defense, the single back and the weak I pitch are dead. The I sweep is decent but because you can't dictate to run only that play, overall it's not really worth it.

I think it's pretty clear you're going to cut it out of the gameplan!

I wouldn't take it out entirely. Just limit it's use. Make it more a surprise play than a main running play. For a pitch play to be really successful you need a HB with the speed to get outside, a fulback fast enough to get there ahead of him, a WR with some strength and blocking ability ( doesn't take a lot just some ), and a Guard with enough speed and agility to lead block for him. I have had a great season running the ball outside. 2 running backs over 1500 yds on a team that throws the ball a lot.
