I was just wondering ?
If you had a team in which you put TE's at WR and OG's at FB and TE and then ran HB random run on 1, 2 and 3 down. could you still be succesful ?

You'd win some games, but you'd get killed in the playoffs if you're that simple and easy to game plan against.

It's been done before, and it can work.

Also note that it won't be viable in the long haul as players will suffer from playing out of position.

Im not sure why you would put OGs at FB and TE..both of them have very nicely done Blocking SA trees. Just build them for that heavily.

Plus you wouldnt even have to put TEs at WR..a strong WR can pancake a CB with ease. A guy on one of my teams (also happens to be my roomie) had 7 pancakes last game as a WR. Sure it was vs a gutted team but i know he has had other games with pancakes in it when he was blocking on a run play.

You dont even need to pancake someone to make a decent block.
