I've generally soft-capped speed first. How does the HB turn out if agility is soft-capped first?

Pretty much exactly the same depending on what you do later.

That's what I did, and my RB has turned out quite well.

I have a friend capping agility 4 times before he does anything else with him.

right now at level 10 he has 66 agility and 23 speed. he has +6 speed in custom, and all his equipment is going to agility.

The defensive linemen absolutely miss him about 65-75 percent of the time. He's in the d-leagues of course, but he is averaging 13 yards a carry, very low amount of carries per game, about 7-10. It seems like he scores at least touchdown every single game, if not more.

I am pretty convinced Agility is by far the best stat for a running back.

Well personally I think speed is the most important stat.

I'm actually building an HB almost identical to what your friend is doing. My level 10 HB has 63 agility and 33 speed, he's in a capped league and he averaged 2.6 yards per carry this season, his average would've been even lower if he hadn't made 19 yards on 1 pitch play.

Man that's weird. His always goes up the middle. Agility is great for running up the middle. the linemen will be right in front of him and all around him, and they all miss him.

The biggest difference is your friend is in the D Leagues, Vis's is in a human-run league.

Yeah we already pretty much established this about 5 hours ago, thanks though. which was why I was suggesting him to run up the middle more.

I don't believe agility is the most important stat. I think speed and agility are equally important to be a successful HB.

THis makes sense because everyone does "Speed 2 cap" "Agility 2 cap" "Carrying 1 cap"

YOu will gaim about 1 extra point in agility by capping that first. The question is:

Do you get speed (maybe agility) to the second cap first before you pit points into agility (or speed depending on what you capped first).

Has anyone 2nd capped speed or agility as the "first order of business" It seems like it will take till level 20 before you can start putting points into carrying so you don't put it on the turf.

You wouldn't have to wait until level 20 to put points in carrying if you build your HB right.

Although my level 15 HB is a First Step experiment, he has 68 base speed and 37 agility. If I'd stopped putting points into speed at the 60.51 cap and hadn't put my 15 SP from boosting towards First Step, he could've 2nd capped speed and agility at level 15.

so what do you think, first step vs agility?

ive got a powerback with 3rd cap natural in speed and strength, and ive trained agility to 28. Do you find that first step helps or do you like agility better?
