So it's been a long regular season, but it's been a lot of fun...The Eastern Conference Championship is really wide open for anyone to take...With that, let's break it down...

1st Round

Louisville vs. Cleveland--In the regular season matchup, Louisville dominated the battle of Ohio teams...I don't see anything being different this time around...Winner-Louisville

Red Bank vs. River City--Red Bank steamrolled through their schedule with the ease of a hot knife through butter, only stumbling against #1 seed Louisville...River City is a tough team for a #7 seed...I don't see the upset happening here though...Winner--Red Bank in a close one

Appalachian vs. Syracuse--Syracuse was one of Appalachian's only 2 losses in the regular season, and that was by a TD...Appalachian, however, is a team that always ups the intensity in the playoffs...Syracuse lost in the first round last year, and unfortunately, I see it happening again this year...Winner--Appalachian by 10

Lincoln vs. Jax Beach--Jax Beach is one of the most improved teams this year...Lincoln also improved big time...This is the most intriguing of the first round matchups...Lincoln won the regular season game by 3...Lincoln is really hungry to keep themselves amongst the conference's top dogs...Winner--Lincoln by 4

Semifinals

Louisville vs. Lincoln--This game presents quite a quandary for me...The last 2 seasons, Lincoln beat Louisville in the regular season, and Louisville came back and beat us in the playoffs...This year, Louisville won the regular season game...Another thing is Louisville beat Red Bank, and Red Bank destroyed Lincoln...I think the tradition of the last 2 years holds up...Winner--Lincoln with the upset

Red Bank vs. Appalachian--Red Bank beat Appalachian in the very first game of the season...Since then, Red Bank has been rolling...However, so has Appalachian...Appalachian always ups their game come playoff time...Red Bank is just too good a team, and I think they head into the finals, but it'll be a dog fight that Michael Vick would be proud of...Winner--Red Bank

Finals

Red Bank vs. Lincoln--Lincoln has added a few key FA's during the season, including adding some beef to the big boys up front...Red Bank has had a pretty easy season, easily putting themselves to move up the old-fashioned way, earning it...Lincoln will give them a fight though...Winner--Red Bank by a FG

Hope you all enjoy this...I have a feeling a lot of these playoff teams will not be here next year...

Raves made a big deal about it being Cleveland, Ohio. And Me and Wlfrnd make a huge deal about it being Louisville, Ohio since the, Wlfrnd the, team owner is from there and I am from Canton, which is three miles away.

Yeah I'm originally from Sandusky but I doubted anyone would nkow where that was outside of maybe Tommy Boy and Cedar Point.

But yeah Cleveland, Ohio and Louisville, Ohio in the head to head game. HOpefully we might be able to pull off the upset this time... but I'm not too confident.

Just don't think it's your year, Raves. You really have made huge strides and I think that you will do quite well next year in whatever league you end up in. Good show, man. But I just don't see it happening. And Husker... I think we are gonna break with tradition this year. We'll be winning that game against you so we can get another crack and Appalachian. Good luck, Husker. We really do enjoy your writeups and the games against your team. Always a great game. Good luck Raves.
