I see the west won 10-6, bringing the West their fourth straight year of dominance in H2H vs the East.

I'd go pull up the entire record, but I'm lazy and I don't want the East to cry anymore than they already will.

Yes, the west does win in terms of quantity of non-shitty teams. But top 5 going H2H would be a shootout. Keep in mind that Ho did beat south texas just over a month ago in a scrim, and the doom has also beaten the ho recently. Meaning the top two east teams are sure to be pretty good outside of the vacuum. RCI, the Beer Barons, and the Steamer are also great teams that have all bested one another in one way or another. Hell, RCI and The Barons beat the Doom. I'm really excited to see the result of the league championship this year. I may be biased, but I'm pretty sure we'll see an eastern team come out on top.

I wouldnt discount any of Vancouver/Honolulu/South Texas in a championship game.

West is best!

To quote the totally unbiased power rankings...

2. St. Louis Bear Barons - They Squared off against Doom and fought for the right to have their home-field-advantage-through-out-the-playoffs hopes squashed by the Playbook. A very sound victory by the Barons means they take over the #2 spot. Beating the middle of the pack teams soundly is what an elite team does and they showed what they are made of. The Barons still play Ho Playbook and South Texas and will have to win one of those to avoid a three way tie for 2nd place. 4 units of Honolulu

4. South Texas Texans - When you're a good team you beat the crappy teams. That's what they did last week vs Vancouver. Sporting the second best defense in the league, the Texans absolutely imposed their will on the near hapless Lions offense. South Texas is a team good enough to be in the eastern conference and will be the clear favorites to win the National League playoffs. 3.7 Honolulus

Head to head result....

Thunder - 41, Beer Barons - 14

(470 yards of offense to 150)

Whoops!

Why the heck is The Sea Team still not considered in championship hopes. We demolished Honolulu (actually look at the box score, not the score - we didn't set our special teams), and got screwed by the Lions with 14 unanswered to lose 20-17, and our STT was week 1 - too long ago.

We'll make it heard in the playoffs though, and continued our record to 4-0 in regular season games against the East in week 16.

The Ho power rankings are a joke, I hope you realize.

it makes a lot more sense to look at the close match ups in terms of standings then the whole thing.

when it was like 8th seed vs 8th seed with big stakes the east dominated. It's not my problem if the west had more easy games.
