Sorry, they are splitting up the leagues by overall from what I've heard, hope some of us get in the same league!

I don't think they are doing that. Well not this coming season at least, though I wouldn't be too surprised if at some point they do completely re-do the leagues. However if you look at the latest announcement it contains the procedure for determining what teams get promoted at the end of this season. That system is based on playoff/scrimmage wins and losses for the most part. If they were just going to re-do the leagues based on player level or scouting bars there would be no need to give us the promotion rules because every team is just going to be promoted/demoted into a league based on their levels.

For now I am pretty sure that they are just automatically sending sold teams to BBB and then promoting extra teams from the league below them to fill those spots. Now since we are in BBB that does mean we can expect to be among the most heavily impacted leagues since we're at the bottom of the pyramid. Of course any teams that get promoted out of BBB8 are still going to A4 so all the teams that get promoted will still be together.

Personally I am all for re-alignment and balancing the game. Grossly inflated stats (8th place Florida is the conference leader in rushing yards because they had over 2,000 rushing yards in their first 2 games!) and boring stretches of 3-4 games against gutted teams that don't stand a chance hurt the game. Not to mention it would suck to pay money and be given one of those gutted teams and then find yourself unable to compete and unable to sign good players because they don't want to join a non-competitive team. It's like a catch-22 situation, you need players to win and you need wins to attract players.

Could always do what the Wang Clan did... Just spend a few thousand dollars and build your whole team yourself...

Having taken over the former Washington Apocalypse I completely am with you rsb014.

1) You're given a team after the season has started, and the majority of talent has been scooped up.
2) There is no way to get your stadium in order from the mismanagement of previous owners
3) The majority of players on the team are pissed because of the incompetences of prior management.

I asked for a USA BBB team to work my way up the ranks of the USA Tier. I wanted the challenge, and know it'll most likely take me a minimum of 2 seasons after this one just to get competitive. Our stadium is so far behind we lack the capital to financially compete with other teams. This could be an easy fix, but in the long run don't you think the admin want it difficult as it is. They make money either way, and offer no apologies for the situation your dealt. It's not like going to a car lot, looking a few vehicles over, deciding on one, and still having 3 days to back out of the deal. Here once you sign your done. You don't get to look at a few teams to buy, and see which will be the best fit.

If you are dealt a severely jacked up team there should be at a minimum extra cash handed to you to help you get up to par for the beginning of the following season.

I agree with you about being handed money to compete... There's really no way for the lower tier teams to get into the game at this point. You've got to pay players ridiculous amounts to get them to sign with you, and even then they're just mercs. As soon as the season is over they're jumping ship...

Especially, if you have no credit for knowing what you're doing. I've been lucky enough to have been on some good teams, and have been a DC so at least I have a small pool of agents that are willing to work with me, and eventually I'll build up more credit as an owner.

I was in the same boat. I was lucky enough to be on a bad team in a different league and got some conections there. I decided to sign lower level players(8-16) so that I could be restructured. This will most likely happen. I'm fairly new to the game so I was leaning on my GMs for support.

Kranok, I feel your pain man! I was lucky that the last owner a wack of player trades for money so that when I got the team it was nicely stalked with stadium building cash. I hope to be able to compete in a couple of seasons also. I torn about leaving as this league seems pretty tight...it would have been gratifying to be able to compete against you all.
