1(1) - East St. Louis Tire Fires(12-1) - A game with Niagara in two weeks is a possible first round playoff matchup and will be a good scouting point for both teams. It will be interesting to see how Niagara tries to defend Beav Nizzle, who has rushed for over 200 yards and at least 3 TD's in each of his last four games.
Next week vs Macau Gamblers - ESL
2(2) - Bandar Lampung Pigskin Pirates(11-2) - Bandar enters the most important stretch of there schedule, and can't afford a slip up. A loss now will put the Pirates second seed up to tie breakers, so they need to handle business and win out to lock up there playoff standing.
Next week vs Queensland Flash *GAME OF THE WEEK* - Must win game for both teams, I see Bandar coming out on top
3(3) - Bangkok Seamen(10-3) - Ricky Watters and co don't look like the same Bangkok team from seasons past. Is it a lack of focus this season, or a show until the playoffs? We won't learn much these last three games, but the Seamen's first round playoff game will be a very interesting one to watch.
Next week at Taiwan Royals - Bangkok
4(4) - Phuket All(10-3) - I believe the highest they can finish is 3rd with a Bandar loss, but with games vs PSK and Krakatoan they could fall out of hosting a home playoff game. There going to need star QB George Harver to strap the team on his back and get two wins vs two very good teams.
Next week at Pennsylvania Silver Knights - Phuket
5(6) - Singapore Marauders(9-4) - I know the PSK beat them in week 5, but with huge wins over Queensland and Pattaya back to back, the Marauders are pretty much a lock for the playoffs. They have two games they should win before a matchup with NACJAC, that if they win, could propel them into hosting a first round playoff.
Next week vs Chaiyaphum Gothic - Singapore
6(5) - Pennsylvania Silver Knights(9-4) - Big win over the Jeanhorns guarantees them a playoff spot. How they fare vs Phuket All and Ho Chi Mean could place them anywhere between a possible home playoff game, or the 8th seed. It will be interesting to see how this team performs with the pressure on.
Next week vs Phuket All - Phuket All
7(7) - Queensland Flash(9-4) - This team seems to have come down to earth some sincec ESL broke there momentum. They will need to pick up the pieces this week though, as Bandar is fighting for the number 2 seed and will bring there A game. This is a good warmup game before the playoffs start for the Flash
Next week at Bandar Lampung Pigskin Pirates*GAME OF THE WEEK* - Bandar
8(8) - Niagara Jeanhorns(7-6) - Luckily for them, Singapore beat Pattaya and that keeps the Jeanhorns in the playoffs. There game in two weeks vs ESL could very well be the first round matchup, and they should treat it as a golden opportunity to scout the Tar Far. They still need to win two of there last three to guarantee they make the first round however.
Next week at Spokane Vandalizers - Niagara
9(9) - Pattaya Partisans(7-6) - They've lost 3 of there last 4 and seem to be crumbling as the playoffs approach. With Bandar and Taiwan still left, the Partisans are counting there blessings that Niagara lost to PSK. They still will need to pull a rabbit out of there hats if they want to make the playoffs however.
Next week at Holbrook Roadrunners - Pattaya
10(10) - Macau Gamblers(6-7)
11(11) - Chaiyaphum Gothic(5-8)
12(12) - Xi'an Dragons(3-10)
13(13) - Holbrook Roadrunners(3-10)
14(14) - Tokyo Whalers(2-11)
15(15) - Spokane Vandalizers(1-12)
16(16) - Taiwan Royals(0-13)
