I am planning to have a tournament next season. Right now I am planning for 8 teams, but if we can get more quality teams we might do 10 or 12, but 8 is the minimum goal. 2 Groups to be determined in the off-season, based on my rankings.
ROUND ROBIN
2 Groups of 4, play each team in your group once. Round Robin to be done by Day 8 (1 game every 2 days).
CHAMPIONSHIP SEMIS
Top 2 teams from each group advance to the semis. 1st from Group A plays 2nd from Group B and vice versa. I may have a consolation bracket for the bottom teams. Semis to be done by day 10.
CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL
Best of 3 between the 2 semi-final winners. Might include a 3rd place game. Game 1 done by day 12, Game 2 by day 14, and if necessary, Game 3 by Day 16.
I will track statistics for the tournament, MVP, Offensive Player, Defensive Players of tourney. I will post all info on a private forum.
Looking to finalize a list of teams as soon as possible. I have 4 teams listed that I know from having players on, or for another reason.
